Our Legacy

At Bodegas Marqués de Reinosa, our team of seasoned professionals meticulously guides the fruit from vine to bottle, ensuring that each wine upholds the prestige of our label and embodies the essence of our terroir.

The legacy of Bodegas Marqués de Reinosa is rooted in the noble history of the Marquis of Reinosa, a renowned Marine and Senator who founded the winery in Autol, La Rioja. With a pioneering spirit and a commitment to tradition and expertise, our wines reflect the rich heritage of Rioja, and the cooperative spirit of its people.

Our winemaking facilities boast state-of-the-art equipment, including 107 stainless steel tanks for precise control of maceration and fermentation. Additionally, our two barrel rooms house 5,000 oak barrels, blending American and French origins to impart complexity and character to our wines.

Climate and Vineyards

Situated between 500 and 750 meters above sea level, our vineyards enjoy a typical continental Mediterranean climate characterized by cold winters and hot, dry summers. Annual rainfall averages between 400 and 600 mm, contributing to the unique personality of our wines with Mediterranean influences.
